City of Dublin FET College, Plunket, Northeast Campus is recognised as one of the most dynamic further education and training colleges in the country. Our aim is to provide quality-assured programmes of education and training in a friendly, caring and supportive atmosphere. Student care is at the core of everything we do.
All our courses are certified by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and all successful graduates will receive national certification awards. The college has developed links with Employers and students on courses focussed on employment are required to complete a work placement as part of their study programme. In addition, the college offers pre apprenticeship programmes in Carpentry, Construction, Electrical and Motor where students are provided with opportunities to obtain full apprenticeship training on successful completion of programmes. The college also has established progression links with Universities. On successful completion of any course, students can progress through the Higher Education Links Scheme for entry to year one of a range of degree programmes at Universities.
The college offers a one year Leaving Certificate/Repeat Leaving Certificate course certified by the State Examinations Commission. The college offers a number of part time courses certified by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). The college also offers a number of courses to employees through our Skills to Advance Programme.
