This one year full time course at Post Leaving Certificate level is ideally suited for students who aspire to apprenticeships in the motor industry and related fields. Its aim is to provide students with a thorough grounding in Motor Vehicle Maintenance practices.

- Minimum 5 Passes in Leaving Certificate or

There are no CAO points requirements for entry to any Post Leaving Certificate or Pre Apprenticeship Courses.

Christopher Luidialam
Christopher Luidialam’s hard work, dedication, and commitment were recognised when he was awarded Student of the Year on the Motor Vehicle Maintenance course at City of Dublin FET Plunket College.
After spending almost four years working in the motor industry, Christopher made the decision to return to education to further develop his skills and take the next step towards becoming a qualified Motor Technician.
Today, Christopher is beginning the next chapter of his career as an Apprentice HGV Mechanic with Dennehy Pro Renault, Dublin.
We wish Christopher every success in his future career.

Jakub travelled from Prague to Dublin to study Motor Vehicle Maintenance at Plunket College, enrolling on the full-time programme while also balancing part time weekend work alongside his studies.
Throughout the course, Jakub demonstrated exceptional dedication, hard work, and commitment.
Following his success at Plunket College, Jakub has now been offered a place in Prague University to study on a four-year Engineering degree programme an exciting next step in his educational journey.
